Dear Loyal Fans,
We've been gigging a little, debuting our new setup: the computer keyboard axe! Yes! No longer will I be trapped pointing and mouse clicking! I can roam free! I now have full access to all kinds of rock moves usually reserved only for guitarists, but to borrow from Chicks On Speed, I DON'T PLAY GUITAR! Yaaaay!
In other exciting news, the Murdoch Uni Guild's Songwriter's Competition decided our tune was the best electronic song out of the entries they got, so we won a pretty award! Yaaaay! We're on their "Songwriters 2003" CD as well, if you can find one (there's a rarity to sell on e-bay for ya!).
One important date to mark in your calander is Descend Here Turn 21: December 13 (lucky for some) at The Carlton Hotel in Perth. It'll be huge, with us, some band I haven't heard back from yet, The Belts, Three And A Half Inch Floppy, some of Perth's funnest poets and a fun environment filled with all the trappings of a four year old's birthday party! Lollies! Games! Craft classes! ITS GONNA BE ONE HUGE NIGHT OF PLAYING PRETENDS! Be there!
Any fans of my poetry should check out Voiceworks Magazine at 78's in Perth or New Edition Bookshop in Freo (or whatever indi australian bookshop near you), wherin you'll find Mouthpiece containing a performance of Tomás Ford's Cabaret Of Death's "Postal Aid Package From Mum". Also out now is Noise: Words And Pictures featuring what is arguably my best work, "Fight Response" in all it's wierdo postmodern layout glory.
Love,
