Descend Here kicked off the day with their unique brand of electro/fusion/funk-rock. I cannot get enough of these guys. Me, and the rest of the tav, were almost in tears with laughter at the antics of Tom and Mark. They sang the classic old familiar 'Domestic Utopia' and added new songs that required we pretend we like Justin Timberlake as Tom jumped around the stage as Mark rapped his way through the funniest song I have ever heard. I was glad when it was over just because I couldn't take the spasms of laughter any more. They had the complete package and I was almost certain from the get go that they had it in the bag. The crowd response was the best of any band to have played in any heat.
Ashaye were second up......I found it unfortunate that they had to follow such a charismatic act.
